This policy applies to the WhiteboardCam service, including mobile applications and whiteboardcam.com website.
WhiteboardCam is a service for capturing images of whiteboards, notepads, or other drawings using the camera on a mobile device. Images captured via the mobile apps are uploaded to the WhiteboardCam servers so they may be enhanced, archived, and shared with other users.
In addition to images captured with the mobile apps, WhiteboardCam also collects:
WhiteboardCam is hosted using multiple third party service providers. These providers may have access to some basic technical information to perform this role, such as your IP address.

As a user of the WhiteboardCam service, you may control your own policies on how images are shared via the WhiteboardCam website and/or API. WhiteboardCam provides mechanisms such as user accounts, passwords, access codes, and custom links that may be used to restrict access to images or you may choose to make them publicly available. WhiteboardCam does not share image data other than what is specified by the user.
By default, images collected by the WhiteboardCam mobile apps are held on the WhiteboardCam servers for a maximum of five minutes for the purposes of live streaming to other users.
Users of WhiteboardCam may enable optional features to archive or retain images. The retention period of images are controlled by the user and the user may choose to delete the images at any time using the mangement website at whiteboardcam.com/manage.
While no online service is 100% secure, WhiteboardCam implements a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. All communications between the WhiteboardCam servers, mobile apps, and web browsers are encrypted with industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS).
